They are valid to be redeemed towards:

• A piece of flash (see flash gallery here)

• An Up for Grabs design (See Up for Grabs gallery here)

• Ongoing sessions with me (meaning if the person you are gifting this to, has an existing ongoing piece with me)

In short, No. Unless it is an already existing, ongoing custom piece.

This is due to the chance of the recipient requesting something I am not comfortable doing or able to achieve. For example, I would not be comfortable doing a full colour Traditional Japanese piece because it is not a style that I do/am versed in.

No. They will not have an expiration date! Unless I am dead or spontaneously lose the ability to tattoo, you will still be able to use them hahaha.

You can redeem your gift certificate by submitting for flash/up for grabs pieces (Flash pages are located here and Up for Grabs designs are here.) All applicable flash & up for grabs submission forms have a section to fill out pertaining to Gift Certificates!

In order to fill out those sections, you will need:

• The Certificate Number (which is located in the bottom right hand corner of the certificate)

• The name listed on the GC of who it was from. (**Your name will need to match the name of who the GC was issued to!)

If you already have an appointment booked with me and want to put the gift certificate towards your upcoming session, you can give me the above required info (certificate # and who it was from) at the appointment!

** Unless in the case of the transfer of the Gift Certificate Recipient. Please see GC FAQ Section titled “Can I transfer my Gift Certificate to someone else?” for necessary details.

In the event that you would like to transfer your certificate to someone else, I require that the original purchaser (the listed “From” person, on the Gift Certificate) email me with the New Recipients name. This will be updated in my records, and the new recipient will be able to redeem the value for themselves despite their name not matching the “To” recipient on the original issued digital gift certificate.

Issued Gift Certificates cannot:

• Be refunded

• Exchanged for cash, cheque, credit or debit.

• Used more than 1 time (Unless the amount of the service does not meet the total of the value of the Gift Certificate. In this case, the remaining balance will be recorded and may be used towards another tattoo that the Gift Certificate is valid to be used for)

Yes, you can request a Custom amount when filling out the purchase form that is below this FAQ section!

No. In the interest of saving on paper waste, they will be digital Gift Certificates that will be emailed to you! You of course are welcome to print it off though!

In the event that the tattoo cost exceeds the value of the gift certificate, the recipient must pay any remaining balances via cash or e-transfer.

Once payment has been received, you will receive the digital Gift Certificate via email within 3 days!
